# lighting

> Evaluates lighting balance across video frames

## Overview

Checks whether frames are overly dark or overly bright.

## Configuration

This detector does not accept configuration keys.

## Interpreting Results

* **dark\_frames\_pct/bright\_frames\_pct**: Percent of frames outside lighting thresholds.
* **flags**: Sampled frames with the specific lighting decision.
* **pass\_check**: Fails when dark or bright percentages exceed thresholds.
